OpenCode is the open source, terminal based AI coding agent I like to experiment with. Being model agnostic, I can plug in different providers, and it is a great way to understand how agentic coding tools actually work under the hood.
I like that it is open source and runs in the terminal like Claude Code. It is my pick when I want flexibility over which model powers the agent.
